Million-Pound van Gerwen Continues European Tour Dominance in Munich

Michael van Gerwen extended his unbeaten run in this year’s European Tour by clinching his third successive title with victory in the German Darts Masters on Easter weekend.

The world number one made history in the process as he became only the second player ever to pass the one-million-pound mark on the PDC Order of Merit.

The Dutch star defeated Scotland’s John Henderson in the final on Monday to clinch the £25,000 first prize, which took him over the magic million on the ranking system, which runs over a two year period.
