World Grand Prix: van Gerwen Claims Crown

Michael van Gerwen lifted the World Grand Prix trophy for the second time after a hard fought victory in Sunday’s final against James Wade in Dublin.

World Grand Prix: van Gerwen Storms Past Bunting To Reach Final

Michael van Gerwen eased through to the final of the World Grand Prix with a stunning four sets to nil triumph over Stephen Bunting on Saturday.

The reigning PDC World Champion whitewashed the man who currently holds the BDO world title to reach his second final in three years at Dublin’s CityWest hotel.

World Grand Prix: van Gerwen Battles Past King To Edge Closer To Crown

Michael van Gerwen survived a scare in the quarter-finals of the World Grand Prix but edged past Mervyn King in a last-leg decider to progress.

The reigning World Champion, who won the Dublin tournament two years ago by beating King in the final, was pushed all the way by his opponent but won through in a five-set thriller on Friday.
